Out On The Town

Note: Sorry Gia isn't where Ethan is talking with Cecelia, I had her visit with him and the game kept resetting her.. So it's just Ethan visiting grandma. So we're just going to pretend Gia has the flu for this little part. I also wanted Pal to be in this part so much. But he never seems to be home! I gotta go check on him. I know he's still alive but what is he always doing in the middle of the day? It can't be work he's retired. This chapter was originally going to be "Tales of the Past" but I everytime I went to write I kept feeling blocked. So I will just show Ethan and Gia having a fun time instead. Show them bond a bit.  Because honestly I feeling blocked writing emotional stuff.
---
Ethan always known for grandmother Cecelia to be a little loopy...  She's been seen talking to herself from time to time and say odd things about the future.

His grandmother was right about him meeting a princess but perhaps the great spirits have told her where the Queen of the Fae is.

"Why isn't Gia with you?"

"She came down ill this morning."

"After being locked up for so long.. I suppose a few illness's can arise after being free. I do hope she gets well."

"I am sure she will it just seems to be a flu.."

"So Grandma since you know about Gia can you tell me where her mother Fayla is?"

"The less Fayla knows about Gia's whereabouts the better. Leif has his spies everywhere and if Fayla suddenly became aware of where her daughter is Leif will know it to. Those spies are awful loyal to him."

"I see." He paused for a minute in thought, " Well is there anything I can do to help the manner at hand? According to Gia blue elves are suffering-"

"As we speak the Fae are keeping care of the manner. Tell Gia not to worry... yet."

"Yet?"

"Well there will be a time, where the blue elves will need the help of there princess. She'll be gone for a little while. That's all the spirits will allow me to say."

 "Gone? As in hurt?"

"She'll be fine... Just something she needs to attend to once the Fae dethrone Leif."

"Which is?"

'Don't tell him.' The voice said to Cecelia.. "Um, well Ethan I can't tell you everything. But things will be fine."

She pulled her grandson into a hug.. "Things will be fine.. a little hard when- but things will be fine Ethan."

"Okay, Grandmother. I guess I can relay that back to Gia that the less her mother knows the better."

"Yes, please do."

"Ethan!" A voice yelled out from behind him.

Ethan turned around to see his Aunt Darlene though she's still a teenager she aged up into quite the lovely young lady.

Much like Ethan she has the proper trait.. So she's almost always in formal ware.

"Nice to see you again nephew!" She smiled.

"Why Darlene last time I saw you were knee high.... besides I am older."

"Doesn't make me any less your aunt." She giggled... "Nice to see you again."

"Good to see you again Darlene."

"Has mother told you about little Fly-"

"Darlene!"

"Aw, mom he should know the future."

"No."

"Those spirits are bossy... Care tell me about my mister perfect one day?"

"..No."

Ethan jr had to laugh at his Grandmother's and Aunt's small conversation is quite entertaining. Grandma Cecelia seems to be pretty tight lipped about her youngest daughter's future. He wonders why. Little who? What did Darlene just say?

He'll let that little remark of Darlene's slide for now.. there was one other thing he needed to ask his grandma.

"Grandmother, I've been hearing this voice. It's a man's voice. Almost like a vampires's hypnotic. Is it a voice of a spirit or I am just going crazy?"

"Ethan, you need to sleep and find that out for yourself."

"Huh?"

"You've been using to much invigoration elixir my dear grandson. You need try sleeping for once... "

"What does sleeping have to do with-" Ethan got cut off.

"Ethan it is not a voice of the spirits. It is a voice of a spirit. Yours to be exact. "

"Mine?"

"Yes, and you need to sleep so you can see your former self. Only then will he go away and leave his current self at rest. He, erm.. you... have something to tell you."

"I guess I have to give that a try... huh a former me? I had other lives huh? I've must've been evil or something to have the bad luck I been getting." Ethan jr laughed to himself at the very thought.

"....Heh.... Well just go to sleep tonight or any night."

"Alright grandmother I will. It's been nice talking with you.."

He bid his grandmother goodbye and thanked her for everything and went along his way.

"You feeling better Gia?"

"Well, yes.. a night in a fairy house a bit pollen punch always helps."

Ethan explained to Gia about what his grandmother said.

"So I just sit and wait?"

"For your own protection. I think you should."

"I'll trust what your grandmother says. I feel so odd about this.."

"Why feel odd?"

"Well you see my whole life... whenever there was something wrong.. well I'd just go and try to fix the problem. I Never really- well I've never just sit back let things happen. It just feels weird that I have to do that now. To be honest I feel kinda of useless..."

"Well you're not useless.. besides doesn't the elves and the fae need there princess safe? Instead of being needlessly killed? Besides you have been locked up for so long.. You need a day to yourself."

"...I guess you're right."

"I am right."

"Thank you..."

"For what?"

"Everything, the protection, the advice, the redecorated room, and the fairy house."

"Hey I aim to please.."

So they went to the park.

There was a eating competition. With no surprise Gia won.. being in that cell all this time builds quite the appetite!

They went on skating rink.. but Gia didn't quite understand the meaning of the word 'skate' so she flew around instead.

They concluded their trip to the park with a slow dance.

However, before calling it a night. Ethan just had to check out the new bar in Butterfly Acres.

So Gia enjoyed one drink and stopped there she didn't want to get intoxicated. While Ethan on the other hand six which leads to this..

He streaked past everyone. This everyone who includes Great-Great- Great Aunt Ava.

Gia decided to take some charge of the situation before Ethan does something major he'll regret...

"That's it! We're going home!"

"Aw, But G-"

"No, give me your car keys."

"Do you even know how to drive?"

"Your too intoxicated to and yes, I can drive fine." Though truth be told the last time Gia drove a car was seventy-five years ago. But one never forgets.

They arrived home safe and sound.

"Well despite your little uh, outburst.. I do thank you for lovely time out."

"And I thank you for taking me home before the cops get me.."

He pulled her into a hug and a very close hug.

"Well goodnight Ethan. " She had stop this right then and now. Before things got awkward.  There's something Ethan he seemed familiar to her. She's not quite sure how. Surely she would've remember meeting someone like him.  He's quite the rememberable person.  But around him she felt at peace, protected.

"Goodnight Gia." He noticed how close he was  to her and backed up.. "Oh- I- am sorry-"

"It's okay Ethan we're both a bit ...juiced... but we both know when to stop. Well once again goodnight and thank you for everything."

Gia retired to the Fairy-house for tonight.

She was left with her thoughts. Gia was still trying to figure out how Ethan seemed so familiar. She was trapped for years in her brother's dungeon.  For so long she lost track of time.  Ethan did have the same voice of a man she would dream about while stuck in that dungeon.

But just the voice though. Ethan and the vampire looked completely different. Even had somewhat different personalities. Plus Ethan is a much younger warlock and real. While the Vampire was a total figment of her imagination.

Those dreams mean nothing. Right?

All the while Ethan passed out on the sofa to juiced to make it up the stairs.

He should've remembered to prepare himself for his dreams. Because he came face to face with his past self.

"Why hello me- Well we're Ethan now correct?"

"Um.. Yes and who are you?"

"Ah, well our new mother hasn't mentioned me. But that's fine it's even understandable that she would not. I promised Life I'll be good and good I shall be. Our name was Keaton and we need to talk."

To be continued..

--

Note: Well, Keaton did promise Life he'll be good. The only trait Ethan and Keaton did have in common was proper. Ethan being a proper and party animal.. while Keaton was proper and evil. But no worries here Keaton just has a message to send to Ethan and he won't show up anymore. As said I am sorry for taking so long with this. I hope you enjoyed the next chapter will be "Tales of the Past" and then the next after that called "A little Romance." I just hope I won't feel seriously blocked trying to write "Tales of the Past" again.

In game Flynn has been born and Ethan jr is level 8 in the music career and mastered the guitar skill.  Bonus pics.

Ethan rocking out.

Gia's former room.. haha. I am not good at redecorating but in this case it came out okay.

This is what I catch Ethan and Gia doing on freewill now. All the time.

Ethan with his infant son Flynn I know this won't be for few chapter but.. it was a cute picture. I tried to do white for the nursery.

So so sorry for taking so long with this and I hope you enjoyed this.
