Spirit Baby

Years went by for Delilah nothing unusual happened. In fact she was nearing her 40th birthday.

Delilah was at the top of her career. Plus using 40 of the 50 required potions. Cosigning Elixirs were bringing in one heck of a profit. She now has over $500,000 in the bank life couldn't get much better.

Her romance with Ethan was slowly but surely building.

She would often tell him to let the Great Alpha Wolf lessen his work hours.

"Or maybe I could summon him from the great beyond-"

"That wouldn't be the best idea. You have no idea how cranky Kai- well I shouldn't say his whole name. But he hates being bothered!"

"So his name is Kai-????. interesting."

"Just don't do it Delilah-"

"Well....."

"Can you please just listen to me for once?"

"....I don't like him."

":| Please the only person he would love to see summon him is Wolfie Landgraab from the Race against time universe. He's so proud of him. "

"I see."

"...Okay....I won't do that. I think I have a loop hole anyway."

"What would that be?"

"You'll see... You'll see..."

With that Ethan was gone before he can respond.  A few more years went by and she hasn't seen Ethan anywhere she doesn't know why the Great Alpha Wolf wants Ethan so busy. He must have millions of werewolves why keep Ethan from haunting for so long?

 She would just often just sit and think about this. How to get ambrosia, how to keep Ethan up and haunting.  They day of her 40th birthday finally came. Delilah wasn't much for a party so she decided to buy a cake celebrate by herself.

  She made one wish and one wish alone. Just to live out the rest of her life happily.

Sparkles came over her.

"I still look great." Delilah would comment to herself.

Over the next couple of years while Delilah was reading a book.

Ethan came to haunt in the middle of the day. Since he rarely visits and she does love him. She decided to give in that fine day. 
One thing led...

To another.

Then he was gone as quickly as he came.


Delilah was left all alone... for the next several weeks she got sick.

She tried to dismiss it as to much time with the Alchemy station.

But when she kept getting sick at home.

She came to realize it's possible for a ghost to impregnate women.

"Damn ectoplasm."  ...Only logical explanation in her head.  I guess.

Over the next few months she tried to live life as normally as possible. May she not have wanted a child but now there's one on the way. As far as she's concerned there no taking this back.

She did try to inform Ethan who visited.

But he was called away before she can say a word. Delilah briefly wondered to herself: will he ever figure out?

With a new baby on the way she brewed up 75 potent invigoration Elixir's for herself. There no need for sleep with a new born around.

She did read all the pregnancy books.

Spoiled herself by going to the day spa.

She also satisfied her odd apple cravings. Delilah did hope to have a son. (She even rolled the wish have a boy.)

 She still maintained her garden.

Still got rid of poison apples.

Using everything she converted.

The oddest thing about this pregnancy is that she never felt the baby kick. This worried Delilah was she somehow carrying a still born?

She went to the doctor about it. They insisted that it was a healthy pregnancy and there was nothing to worry about.

This put her mind at ease and Delilah made a few small changes to the nursery.

One fine day while in the Alchemy room Delilah went into labor.

Then her cell phone rang.

Which did nothing more then annoy her.

Delilah opted to have a home birth. She can handle the pain, she's strong.

She began to scream.

"DAMN YOU ETHAN! I AM GOING TO BRING YOU BACK TO LIFE AND RE KILL YOU! A SILVER BULLET WILL GO STRAIGHT UP YOUR ASS I SWEAR TO- "

"GREAT ALPHA DOUCHE-BAG! YOU BRING HIM BACK RIGHT NOW!"

As soon she said that it was time for the little baby to make his appearance.

 She had a warlock/ghost. Who knew a little spirit could hurt so much. Delilah thought.  Born a Genius (Trait from Delilah.)  also born Virtuoso (Trait from Ethan.)

She named him Ethan after the man she loves. Not just for one lifetime but her son was named after his father, because she had loved his father for over six lifetimes.

When she put little Ethan in his crib.

 She noticed something different about her baby's soul. Delilah suddenly realized exactly why,  Life insisted she'd be a good mother no matter what.

"Why you little womb raider-"

Delilah stopped herself. What is she to do?

She debated this subject. On one hand is a different person now and she should treat him as her son.  On the other hand he did murder his father in a past life. Is there any way they can move past this?

Well first thing is first.

She sat down her baby. "Sorry Kid. No infant of mine..."

"Needs.."

"A lollipop that big."

Delilah saw her sons tears and immediately felt bad.

"I am sorry. You didn't deserve that.'

"It's just you and me for right now kiddo. Let's make the best of this. I'll leave the past in the past. I took Keaton's life away. I guess Life thought of it as justice for me to give it back."

"You have a clean slate now, Jr. Let's try to make this work out."

I hope you all enjoyed this. Yes, SOnet you were right. You earned yourself a prize.. request any five Elixirs you want, and I'll have Delilah ship them to you. Since Ethan Jr was born with two traits one from each parent the rest of his traits will be rolled. So weather or not he turns out Evil will be left up to a roll of the dice. I do have a pre planned story for Generation E that requires a male Heir. I was hoping for a werewolf but I got a warlock. No matter, I'll just adjust the story slightly for that.  Also I hope to make Jr more likeable then his previous lifetime. Piazzagirl I hope you don't mind the Wolfie reference lol.  I really do think "Kai" is proud.  Thank you all for reading.
