Life and Death

The first one to hit the first strike was the one from the future. Kellie Val, a future life time of Delilah's that takes place in the year 6,854.

As he was on  fire though. Kellie broke from her trance that Delilah had her under. Instead of the anger of Diana that plagued all of them.

While he was dancing around on fire he nearly died by Kellie's hands.

Kellie who had broken out of the trance Delilah had her under. 'OH NO! What have I done?!"

She took the fire hydrant and saved him before it was to late.  Kellie couldn't let him die for she recognized his soul.

She knew Diana and Delilah were enemies with him and that was fine. But she will not be the one to take him out. She can't be... he's far to important to her in the future.

His soul means more then the rest of them realize.

Let the others kill him. Kellie wants no part in this.

She promptly ignored the rest holding back tears.

Was she as guilty as the rest of them?  She didn't have the right answer. It was his destiny to die here and she knew it.   Just not by her.

Next up was a past life of Diana's her name Marlena Carrasco.

Marlena was a famous scientist and witch. She was known as one of the first masters of time travel and out of body travling. She wasn't Evil like the rest of them though she was kind soul.

But she did recognize Keaton's soul! He did take an awful lot of her work and passed it off as his own.  He never did pay for those crimes in this life time. But he surely pay for it now let him be ice! As far as Marlena was concerned.

Then he mysteriously melted.

   

One has got to love during all the drama. How Delilah can just sit now and take time to just read a book.

She is diffidently the calmest one in the room.

Diana could not wait to take her turn. She has waited for far to long.

They both wanted to fight each other and now they have it.

This fight raged on for a good four hours.

 

Diana did manage to get a wooden steak threw his heart. She like she has been wanting.

 

Then he turned to ashes! 

But when the reaper came. Keaton didn't beg. Infact he shook the reaper's hand.

Everyone but Kellie was in shock about that. She was the only one in the room who knew what was going on. Aside from Grimmy of course.

Just before he left he told Delilah he and his wife will meet her in the cemetery tonight. After she returned everyone to their rightful time. Since she did not die one deal was irrelevant.  But the second deal she made with Life and Death was still intact.

Before sending them back home Delilah talked to each past and future life.

She started off with Kellie who's actions worried her the most. Did she grow soft in over 6,000+ years?

Kellie explained that would have been horrible on her soul to kill Keaton herself. That she shouldn't have even been summoned her.

Delilah started to blow up. "DON'T TELL ME YOUR LOVERS- BECAUSE I SWEAR-"

"NO. Nothing like that. Never like that. ...I can't speak how but he is important."

"Hmph."

"You'll see Delilah, you'll see why..."

Next up was someone who didn't even had the chance the fight. Queen Kay Talley.

She was from another planet shockingly over 90,000 years in the past. Which is quite a shocking discovery about ancient life on planets.

The Genius side of Delilah was intrigued. She spent a good hour talking to her.

Next up was scientist and witch Marlena Carrasco.

Delilah heard rumors of her time machine..

To her surprise Marlena confirmed it all true.

Last but not least was Diana Tharp.

When she the rest home she talked to her.

Diana thanked her from pulling her from the past to do this.

"Yeah, no probelm.. only drained my powers for the next six months. You're welcome."

"You'll bounce back. We always do."

"So tell me how is my handsome warewolf."

"Still dead."

"Are you two together?"

"He's a ghost!"

"So?"

"Wow, I do see the difference between you and me."

"Hey! Don't knock anything until you tried it."

"Okay, back to the past with you."

She made Delilah feel very uncomfortable.

She also had a little bit power now to bind Keaton's ghost to a box.

She had to give him to Life herself, in order for him never to haunt her and give her some peace.

She went to the grave yard to meet Life and her husband Death.

Death remembers Diana fondly. After Diana Tharp was responsible for a lot of his work load for awhile.

"Hello Delilah."

"Hello Grim."

Life however wasn't so kind. Life's heart breaks every-time a soul is taken so early. She loved everyone dearly and equally no matter how evil or wicked. Even if such a creation  was to break her heart so many times like Diana did. Each time a soul dies early she would cry. Old age was fine.. but accidents, murders, and suicides broke her heart.

She told Delilah to give her to the box that she put Keaton's soul in.

Delilah complied and handed her the box.

"So what is my part in this deal."

"Promise me. No matter the situation maybe you'll be a good mother."

"You're NOT sending me on a 100 baby challenge! I swear I'll off myself right now-"

"NO. I'd never do that to anyone. But my husband the Reaper would. But to stop Keaton from haunting you forever you have to promise me,  you'll be a good mom. If you don't agree...I'll just have my husband send you on a baby quest so fast it'll make your head spin!"

Delilah backed down. A 100 baby challenge is the LAST thing she'd want. "Okay, I promise... I'll be a good mother one day." Not much of a promise since as far as Delilah was concerned she's never having children!

"Good."

"One question."

"Yes?"

"If you hate people dying so much.. why did you marry Grim?"

"Death, is a necessary part of life. Only a selected few get to be immortal. Death eases the suffering of the sick and frail. With Death, new life will come to be. As opposite as we maybe... One cannot exist without the other. We get along fine, in fact we complete each other. Made for each other."

"So you're like Yin and Yang?"

"Basically."

"So are we done here?" 

"Yes, you may leave now."

"Don't feel bad about having your child one day."

"Heh."

"Hey your name could be Rosaline Dimes. Believe me,  your life isn't so bad in comparison."

I hope everyone enjoyed this chapter and we got to meet Life.  She will play more of a role in Rosaline's story once I get ready for the big reveal.
